Process: For this project I first set up my slide in Power Point. I chose a simple slide and used the gradient feature. I pulled the colors for the slides and the bar line that I added off of the actual projects. I then placed them in the order that I completed the assignments (I wanted to make sure I did not miss one). Then I reordered them into what I felt was my best to my least as was suggested by Sister Peterson.

Critique: I received critiques from, Sister Peterson, Lindsay Cordova, and Carrie Hunt. Lindsay said that she really liked my intro and closing pages. Carrie felt that pink was not professional, she like the coloring of the slides and how they matched my projects and liked the company name and logo. Sister Peterson like the gradient feature, and felt that I needed to align the logo better on the front slide and move the text over on each slide. She like the placement of the logo on the final slide.

I decided to leave the pink color alone. For anyone who has met me and knows me they would agree that pink has to be included. If I were to have a signature color it would be pink. I did align the logo on the first slide with the text and then I extended the line on each slide to the very end and moved my text over as suggested.

I critiqued the following: Lindsay Cordova and Carrie Hunt

  1. Great job on your portfolio slides. I love how you changed the background color to match your images. Good choice of typography.
